Guess what? Computer broke and I’m handwriting this so it may be a little short. Several of us had the privilege of meeting the wife and son of one of our legion namesakes, Stephen Foye. I got a phone call they were at the legion, so I went there to meet them. I met Geneveive Hansen Foye, Steven’s wife and son, Stephen Foye. Geneveive lives in Galena, Illinois and Stephen lives in Kent, Washington. We had a very good conversation about Steven and the family. We took several pictures and put them on our mailing list for the newsletter. I will have their addresses and email if anyone would like to contact them. What a privilege! Our prayers to the Martha Johnston family (Betty Peters’ mother). Martha was a longtime member of the Auxiliary. Denny Haugen, Greg Simonis, Jodie Armstrong and I will have been back from the Legion Mid-Winter Conference by the time you get this. I will report next month.
